1999 - Serview is founded. Our first clients include existing users of machine vision. We provide these companies a way to maximize the return on investment with value added engineering services. Our services include optics & lighting evaluation and design, programming and overall machine vision system design consulting. We develop our relationship with Cognex Corporation and begin to develop software for Cognex PC & smart camera based vision systems.
2000 - Our first Cognex In-Sight vision system is designed, manufacturing, installed and commissioned for a major producer of consumer products inspecting product labels. This follows up with a repeat order for a 2nd system in 2001, both systems are still in operation with Billions of product inspected on a continuous basis since 2000. They include the first generation Cognex In-Sight cameras and Allen Bradley PLC's with encoder based reject tracking for completely automated operation.
2001 - 2D CAD is used for electrical and mechanical design of turnkey vision systems. Our major clients include a well known Fortune 500 multinational corporation supporting a cGMP regulated Health/Beauty consumer product.
2003 - We move to our current location in West Berlin, NJ. We support a zero defect initiative and achieve our first success in supporting a second major client in the health/beauty market.
2005 - We double the size of our facility and increase our capabilities in the area of machining, panel fabrication and design and production of full turnkey vision systems.
2007 - Vision systems for cGMP regulated customers are a major focus for us. We supply validated vision systems installed in the areas of medical devices, drug products, plastic bottles, plastic caps. These systems are designed, installed and validated with PLC and encoder reject tracking with reject verification.
2008 - Completed 30 Cognex PC based vision systems for a single customer.
2009 - Total Sales of $1M are achieved with a single end user.
2010 - 3D CAD is used for design of systems (Solidworks).
2012 - First CNC system purchased - providing automation in machining.
2014 - A VMC (vertical machining center) is purchased, this is a higher level CNC machine providing increased level of automation and provides benefits in the area of size/accuracy/speed.
2015 - We design & manufacture vision modules for use in OEM machines, and drop ship our product directly to distribution depots. These systems are used in all countries in the areas of credit card companies, banks, mail systems and government agencies.
2016 - Serview is granted patent #US 9,280,0367 B2 Titled: Machine Vision Camera Mount with Rotational Adjustment.
2016 - Our OEM clients utilize our designs and products integrated into systems that ship throughout North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
2016 - Total Sales of $1M are achieved with a single OEM client.
2017 - OEM clients are added to our client portfolio and we ship to support specific world markets. For these clients, this includes a global business units located in countries such as Canada (for North American market region) and Singapore (for Asian market region).
2017 - We support machine vision initiatives in the area of drug product serialization and health & beauty/cosmetics track and trace. Our products are used around the world, North/Central and South America, Europe and Asia.
2018 - We purchase our first new CNC VMC (Vertical Machining Center) a Doosan DNM5700 40" x 22" x 20" travel with 12K spindle and 30 Tool Changer
2018 - Projects include: Our mounting kits are used to support of a national rollout of over 100 systems across North America for a fortune 100 food company to support multiple quality initiatives.
2022 - We are using Cobots in our operations
2022 - We form a partnership with Caron Engineering Inc. (CEI) with a territory of NJ and Eastern PA, with a focus on Aerospace, Medical Devices, and Heavy Equipment Machining, along with general CNC machining operations
2023 - We implement Caron Engineering products in our own operations including TMAC, MiConnect and SmartLight
